Post an Ad - It is free to put advertise at BUY & SELL. You are responsible for describing your product accurately. If your are using this service for the first time you need to register. Please login as member to enjoy this service.
Answer an ad – Click on “Respond”. You may leave your phone number in the comment box so that the seller can reach you easily.
Remove or change ad – If you item is already sold or is your ad incorrect. Go to “My ad” where you easily can make changes or remove the ad. If you don’t remove your ad it will automatically disappear after 2 months.
Terms & Conditions
Not for commercial purposes – By the Sea’s Buy & Sell service is only for private individuals selling second hand items.
Only children’s clothes and accessories – It is only allowed to post ads for child related items. No illegal copies are allowed.
Description – The describing text must accurately describe the item to be sold. Descriptions are not to be copied from other web pages. Only ads in English are allowed.
Photos - Photos must represent the item to be sold. Corporate logotypes are not allowed. It is not allowed to take photographs from other ads without permission from the publisher.
Only in Singapore – Only ads for items sold in Singapore are allowed.
Offensive content – Ads that may be perceived as offensive on individuals or ethnic groups are not allowed.
By the Sea reserves the right to determine when an ad is in break off the terms and conditions and remove it.
By the Sea offers a space where buyers and sellers can meet. We take no part in the business transaction, we don’t intermediate or take sides in the case of conflict.
What is stated in the description of the item is the base of the parties business transaction. Additionally there may be verbal or written agreements between the parties.
By the Sea does not take responsibility for the advertised and sold item. The advertiser is personally responsible for his or her ad.
